'I've made a terrible mistake...'

Pictured: Edward and Lyra in an almost-embrace, with Edward's face and clothes stained with blood (if only a little bit), both under about as dramatic lighting as I could muster. 

Gosh does it feel good to be drawing again. :'D Been kind of inactive after Story of Seasons finally made its way to Norway. WHOOPS.

Bit of a self indulgent drawing, felt in a shipping mood for something at least semi-romantic, which I guess in this case translated to random vampire story. :'D Weird idea of romance, but sure. Somehow during sketching and coloring this it had some weird contrast thing going on that I just immediately liked and tried to go through with, but I'm not sure if it's too crowded or something. Oh well. :'D 

So I guess the very vague plot of this drawing is that Edward has been turned into a vampire and has killed his first victim. He then went to see Lyra, his apparent romantic interest, to inform her about his crimes and that he will have to leave her behind and go into hiding. His intent is that this will be the last time they see each other. 

If I'm in the mood, I might... develop... this? A bit? I don't know, for as cliched as it might be I still kind of dig it. :'D 

Got a bit lazy with the corset lacings at the end, I don't think that's how corsets (multiple corsets???) are supposed to work, but it's fine. It's fine. :'D
